The Hobart Botanical Gardens will host
ONCE A JOLLY JUMBUCK
Written by Les Winspear
When drought hits Cooee Creek, the lives of the local animals are thrown into chaos. If they don’t get a fresh supply of water soon they’ll have to leave their beloved home.
Matilda the sheep and Professor Platypus know just what to do, but Crow and Brown Snake are lurking in the shadows, ready to ruin everyone's plans.
Come and enjoy the fun with Cocky, Bilby and all their friends, in this delightful, truly Australian adventure, full of laughs and original songs.
Tickets cost $6.80 per person (Adult & Child) incl. GST. Miriam Kaye is organising this event and requires payment upfront as she needs to pay the organisers. Date that has been booked for Thursday, 3rd December at 10am (morning session) to be held at the Hobart Botanical Gardens. Last year it proved to be a gorgeous warm day, so we hope it will be repeated this year :)
We had over 60 attending last year’s event so we hope that we will have a similar if not better turn-out this year! It is also a great opportunity to meet other home schooling families and old friends. This production is open to the public in January and ticket prices are usually around the $16 per person. So it is a great opportunity to view a great show for a fraction of the price.
